How can i get rid of blackheads forever?

i try to get rid of blackheads by scrubbing in with face wash and used hot water, but it dosen't work! i can't find a way to get rid of it easily. How can i get rid of blackheads forever?
Most people think blackheads are from dirt. They are not.

They are caused by a bacteria. This bacteria does not like oxygen. In fact, oxygen is poison to it. When it dies, it turns black.

This is what you see as a blackhead.

You need a cleaner that adds oxygen to your skin in order to kill off this particular bacteria. There are several products on the market with ';Oxy'; in its name. First, clean your skin with a mild soap just to clear off your skin oils. Then use an Oxy cleaner.

After a couple of weeks of twice daily treatment, the blackheads should clear up.How can i get rid of blackheads forever?
Change your diet! It is only so much you can do for acne and black heads from the outside. It needs to be handled from the inside of the body. Acne and blackheads are a clearing system for your body of toxins. So that tells you, that you might be putting something in your body. If you do not change whatever you are doing they will always be there. No product or scrubbing will do, maybe temporarily but not permanently! Good Luck!
Save your money on creams and cleansers. I can guarantee results by doing the following. I Noticed a few years back that I started to build up whatever it is builds up under your pores especially on your nose area. Out of coincidence I solved this problem. Let me elaborate how I got to it. I am a person that works out a lot so I am constantly exposed to certain elements that can make your skin a bit dirtier than others. In addition my diet is made up of a high percentage of protein which over time can clog your pores.on the long run) Don't get me wrong protein is good.

In a process on training for a triathlon I considered using a steam room to toughen up my training. So guess what after only two 20 minute sessions inside the steam. Waalaa it was as if I had a nose job for real. During the 20 minutes inside the sauna I softly rubbed my nose a few times to scrub off the build up. Make sure you breath through your nose to open up your pores from the inside of your nose. If you are human you will see results. Not only will you loose weight but you will feel energized.

If you can't get to a steam room buy yourself a facial steam machine and breath through your nose. But I do recommend the steam room.
you can buy a face cream 4 it

i recommend clinique it works good!

and u can always try backing soda!

that stuff works!!!

lol
You have oily skin that causes the blackheads. So make sure you wash your face with soap or cream that is for oily hair. Do that for your hair also as they go together.

Oily skin is caused by hormones and there is not much you can do about blackheads except keep your face clean. Don't squeeze the blackheads. That only makes scars.

What is a good cleanser for blackheads and pores?

My face is breaking out because i have started to eat alot I need help to find a cleanser for my blackheads and pores and then when they are gone i am going to a dermatologist for my acne. What is a good cleanser for blackheads and pores?
Hi!

I actually found a facial oil that slows down your skins oil production, clears up pimples/ acne and dissolves black heads within 4-8 weeks I put all the info on my blog as it's quite detailed:

http://beautymoi.blogspot.com

I also put a full article of how to extract blackheads and steam your skin.

Black heads are basically a hardened oil mixture that was secreted from your pores and oxidized (which makes the outside part black) and since water and oil don't mix, no water based product can ';clean'; your blackheads away, just try say putting certain foundations or makeups on the mirror and if you wipe it with water it smudges all over but put a little baby oil and wipe and tada! it comes off super clean AND dissolves it. So this is basically how this oil works. It's composition is such that the skin accepts it as a healing oil and it does not clog your skin but rather protects it while the plant extracts inside go down into the pores (this absorption is made possible by applying the toner to the skin before applying the oil and then applying the dabs of oil over your moistened face), it then penetrates into the pores.

I put where to the name of the oil and prices in stores versus on eBay as well as how to apply it on my blog:

Also be sure to check out all the links on my blog as they have lots of info!!!

For acne you may want to Google Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu.

Take care and good luck!

Actually eating a lot of food gives you acne is a myth (unless you have an allergy.) And I would try Clinique, Nuetrogena, or my favorite Lerosett. It depends of what your skin type is. I have tried all of these and they are good products but only one worked for my skin, and that is the Lerosett. But do not deny the other products, try them out and I hope one of them works out for you! You could also try getting a facial every once in a while, it really works for me!!!
I use Neutrogena Acne fighting solution. Its the orange face soap. It works wonders!!
Neutrogena Blackhead cream

Clean%26amp;Clear is definetly the best product for acne problems. It doesn't only give clear skin, but also lessens oily faces. So i suggest you use Clean%26amp;Clear.
get those little pore strips or get a cleanser that foams...the foam lifts all the dead sckin off and then reaches deep into your pores
if you want to spend money try the aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant it's 17$ for the bottle and it should last you six months put it on once a night before you go to bed. just check the aveda.com if you don't have a salon near you that sells it. it really clears the blackheads
here is some things that worked really good for me...sorry if it's too long. email me if you want more information...this is ways to get rid of pimples, shirking pores, etc. proactive works for most people i think. i've only seen a few people who have it and didn't work. these things helped me, but i'm really sorry if it's too long. email me if you want more info...mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients. toothpaste is good also (for some people). put only a little bit before you good to sleep. some people use this as a mask but don't do it! it can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticable. use the gel or the real thing. try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not to hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. the use cold water at the end to close you pores. the smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. an egg yoke is good also. i used this when i had pimples. just take the egg yoke (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. you can buy these almost about any large store (such as walmart or shaws.) have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. clearasil, neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start. don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin. tea tree oil helps alot, and it can help scars heal faster.
St Ives Swiss Formula Apricot Scrub Gentle!!

Best stuff ever for soft, clean, breakout free skin- it's like 3 dollars at a drugstore/walmart.

  • How do you get rid of blackheads for good?

I have blackheads on my forehead and nose. I have tried so many different things to keep them from forming, but nothing works. I wash my face in the morning and at night. But I also get these little pimples on my nose and those won't go away either. How do you get rid of blackheads for good?
Use a mild scrub or skin exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead then wash face with a non greasy acne cleanser

    DO NOT use bar soap!

Absorb excess oil. If you have oily skin, try using a clay mask that does not contain mint, peppermint or other irritating ingredients. This will absorb the oil that may clog the poor.

if this doesnt work the doctors can prescribe a medicine that actually works or you can see a dermatologist.

I know this isn't the answer you want, but you have to wait until the age where the acne and the blackheads have stopped completely. This is the age when you know for sure that the teenage stage of getting pimples and blackheads is over. Hope I helped.

This should help for blackheads. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

Wash your face 2-3 times a day. Keep your hand and fingers out of your face. Eat looks of fruits, and vegies, and drink plenty of water. Also try using Clean%26amp;Clear products. They have alot for getting rid of blackheads.
They are caused by blocked pores. Wash your face with an exfoliating soap twice a day. I shouldn't know this stuff because I'm a guy, but it works I promise.
Sounds odd but after you wash your face, rub a dab of olive oil on your problem areas before bed. Big difference in two weeks!
Use nose mask and wash face regularly with facial scrub. If its too bad consult a doctor.
    Stay away from AIsle 7!
    wash your face every night

What is the best way to clar my face of zits and blackheads?

Tell me products, steps or what ever it is u use to keep ur skin clear and how often. What is the best way to clar my face of zits and blackheads?
Hormones is the cause and here is why.....

If your thyroid is sluggish...this means that you don't have enough digestive enzymes in your stomach, which because of this causes your blood to become dirty, then the liver becomes so overloaded that it cannot filter out the excess hormones and other toxicity in the body. Also the lymph glands need to be drained often, the body does not do this by itself you have to do it.

So what you need to do is detox, drink plenty of water, take your vitimans and make sure what you eat is mostly good, and when you do eat I highly recommend taking digestive enzymes with whatever you eat, these are inexpensive and absoulty will not hurt you. Acne is a red flag that there is a bigger problem on the inside of your body, if you fix the inside, then you can fix the outside.

I hope I helped if you have anymore questions just let me know! What is the best way to clar my face of zits and blackheads?
That's a tough one because different products work for different people. You might try St. Ives Apricot Scrub specifically designed for blackheads. Just don't scrub too hard. You also could try using a facial steamer which helps to open the pores so medication reach further into your skin. I use Clean and Clear Persagel sometimes. Just be sure to use a thin layer as it is very concentrated.

    Good luck!
    alright, heres what you'll need:

2 teaspoons of finely ground oats. (uncooked. more people dont have finely ground, so just put them in the blender or something)

    2 teaspoons of baking soda

a facial moisteriser (oil free. the heavier duty, the better)

    steps:

    1. mix the baking soda and oats together

    2. add just enogh water to the oats and baking soda to make a thick paste. (dont underwater though!)

    3. lightly wet your face with a washcloth

    4. apply mixture all over your face, then rinse off with a wash rag or hands.

    5. wait 10 minutes, and then apply a facial moisterizer (if your skin feels too dry you can wait 5 minutes)

    * if you have extreamly dry skin, or sensitive skin, i dont know if you will want to use this

    * works well on white bumps on your face and red ones.

    * you will probebly have to use it more than once to see results (i have been using it for 4 days each night, and already all the white bumps from my forhead are gone! my skin is practicly clear!)

    * this can dry out your skin a lot, so make sure to moisterize a lot during the day

This mask RECIPE worked wonders for me! hope it works for you(:

well first of all u definitely want to order proactiv and follow the directions. then u wanna make sure u wash ur sheets, pillow cases, blankets often and what not becuz the dirt from them can clog ur pores. dont know how but it does. then u wanna make sure u dont touch ur face often and if u must touch it, touch it with the back of ur hand. has less bacteria. drink lots of water cuz that helps clean ur system entirely which also helps balance the oil in ur face too. and wear non comedogenic sun block cuz being in the sun too much can cause acne. dont do drugs ever!
Wash your face every morning and every night before you go to bed with a face wash like Clearasil. Then you can apply a treatment cream after you wash, also something like clearasil. You can also try those Oxy daily cleansing pads instead of the face wash. Just make sure that if your skin starts getting dry that you moisturize!

What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?

i want a face wash that really gets rid of the pimples. i dont have achne. i do get pimples and blackheads on and around my nose. i want a face wash that will get rid of both but it doesnt have to be a face wash it can be a pad or something. i do have sensitive skin. What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?
I believe natural stuff is always the best. I use tea-tree oil face wash and it really cleared up my complexion and those problem pimple areas AND it left my skin nice and soft :). I then use distilled Witch Hazel ( you can get it from boots or Superdrug) and apply with a cosmetic pad to cleanse and tone my skin. Drink plenty of water too and I'm sure you'll see the results :)

Ive tried those products like Clearsil and Biore and they didnt make much LASTING difference, it cleared up my spots and then I just got more again. Then someone told me 'Hey, don't you think those companies want that to happen? I mean..if it really did clear all ur spots up all the time for good..they'd go out of business'. I was like..damn, you got a point..What is the best kind of face wash for minor pimples and blackheads?
Try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (with the blue label) or the store brand version. Its a very mild cleanser that many dermatologists and skin care sites will recommend. Start using it daily and your blemishes should improve.
The best thing to do is use a gentle face wash twice a day every day. Cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser works really well, and won't irritate your sensitive skin. Look for a moisturizer with salicylic acid as the active ingredient. This will keep your pores clear and give your skin the moisture it needs. To clear up the black heads around your nose, you can make a simple mask that will help disolve and soften the blackheads. To make the mask mix pure aloe vera gel with baking soda to form a paste. (You can get these things very cheap at any grocery or drug store) Apply the paste anywhere there are blackheads, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. After you rinse it off, you can very gently squeeze the blackheads out. Don't use too much pressure or you can bruise and damage your skin. This can be drying to skin that doesn't have clogged pores, so I don't reccommend it for the whole face. If there are alot of blackheads it will take a couple treatments to get rid of all of them, you can do this once a week until they're gone. If you use a moisturizer with salicylic acid in it, it will prevent them from coming back. Hope that helps!
Everyone's skin is different, and what works best for one person may not work for another. I'm not sure I understand what you mean that you don't have ';acne'; but you do have ';pimples'; -- I always thought those two words were interchangeable!

Do you have oily skin? I have very oily skin, and get lots of small pimples but rarely any large ones. My dermatologist said that I had clogged pores due to my oily skin, but not true acne (which requires the presence of a certain bacteria). His treatments all focused on keeping my skin clean and oil-free. He recommended using Cetaphil bar soap or Dove Beauty Bar with a Buf Puf sponge to wash my face -- this would both cleanse and exfoliate my face, removing any dead skin, oil, and dirt that can clog my pores. If the Buf Puf is too harsh for your sensitive skin, try a softer sponge or washcloth. (But make sure the sponge thoroughly dries out between each use to avoid bacterial infections, which can look like acne!) I personally have found that it doesn't make any difference what face wash I use, but it's other products that clear up my acne. I have found that Neutrogenia On-The-Spot acne treatment (or other treatments with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, the minimum effective dose) are great about clearing my pimples without drying out my skin like the stronger concentrations! (Many brands have 10% BP, which can be very drying even for non-sensitive skin!)

He also emphasized that there's many things you should do to keep your skin clear of acne besides just using medicine and face wash. Always use makeup labeled ';noncomedogenic'; or ';nonacnegenic'; (products labeled ';oil free'; don't have oil but may still have other pore-clogging ingredients). Mineral makeup is a popular trend right now, and it contains all-natural ingredients and is great for all skin types, especially acne-prone or sensitive skin! (Beware of brands like Bare Essentials which contain bismuth oxychloride, which many people are allergic to.) Also, sometimes makeup or face products can produce an allergic reaction which resembles acne -- just something to think about!

My dermatologist also said that all hair conditioners and many shampoos contain pore-clogging ingredients, so try very hard not to get any on your face when you rinse your hair, and only use conditioner on the length of your hair, not the roots. Likewise, shield your face when using hairspray and other hair products.

And while no study has proven that eating greasy foods causes acne, if you eat greasy food then touch your face, you can transfer the grease to your face which can clog your pores! So wash your hands after eating greasy food.

One last thing you can do is to use a new washcloth each time you wash your face, and change your pillowcase frequently, since facial oil builds on both of those things!
ProActive is the best thing out there in my opinion.
Cetaphil Normal to Oily Skin. very gentle, non-irritating and does not dry out your skin. Follow with Paula's Choice BHA 2%

Best way to exfoliate for frownlines blackheads and open pores?

I would love to have a microdermabrasion done once a month but cannot afford it. So what is the best way to exfolaite at home, for frownlines (they have gotten bigger since my post about them) and blackheads in my nose and open pores in my forehead.Best way to exfoliate for frownlines blackheads and open pores?
Pores don't open and close, they don't have muscles attached to them so they can't do that.

For exfoliation, try St. Ive's apricot scrub. It works really well to get off dead skin.

For the blackheads and large pores, try applying whipped egg white to your face, leave it for 20 minutes, and rinse it off.
