What are good products to use to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads?
Or are there any natural remedies that work well? What are good products to use to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads?
You need to do two kind of things: Blackhead prevention %26amp; Blackhead removal:
1. Blackhead prevention
The best way for blackhead removal is preventing it from appearing. There are many ways you can do.
* Hormones are the major cause of overproducing sebum. Stress and food play important roles in the hormone levels. So, stress release is a good way for blackhead prevention. Diet is another good way: Always avoid too much intake of fat and junk food.
* Use a gentle skin exfoliant to remove dead cells from your skin, and keep the skin as clean as possible.
* Do not use harsh soaps, which may irritate the skin. Use only natural cleansers instead.
* Do a clay mask once a week for those with oily or combination skin. A good quality clay mask could help you to remove excess oil on your face, which is a cause of the blackhead.
* Avoid oil-based cosmetics and heavy make up, which could clog your pores and cause blackheads.
2. Blackhead removal
There are some ways for blackhead removal:
* Use a facial steamer to steam your face for a few minutes. This helps you to open up facial pores, and expose the blackheads. Pat your face dry. Then, use a blackhead remover to remove blackheads. Place the hole of the remover over a blackhead, and gently press down. This will apply the pressure from underneath the blackhead, and pop it up. Then use an alcohol pad to clean it up to avoid infection. Avoid harsh squeezing or scraping at the blackhead. Excessive squeezing can damage the skin surround the pore and can actually increase the size of the pore, leading to more blackheads in the future.
* You can also use a pore strip. The adhesive action of pore strips can actually rip blackheads out of your face. Since most strips are medicated, this will ensure you don鈥檛 get an infection from the rather rough extraction. Use a facial steamer to steam your face first, and pat it dry. Then, just apply the strip to the blemished area, wait the prescribed amount of time instructed by the user manual, and rip the strip off, taking the blackhead with it.What are good products to use to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads?
here are an amazing natural remedies
# Put a small bit of toothpaste on the blackheads. This will help to reduce any swelling from the blackheads and dry out the oil in them. Make sure to use an actual toothpaste and not a gel.
# Apply a hot, wet compressor on an existing whitehead to open the pore. Pop the whitehead with a sterile needle and gently squeeze it. Wash your hands and face before and after to avoid infection.
Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

What is the best way to get rid of my blackheads?
They are on and near my nose. I really dont want to use biore because i heard that they are very painful, but if that is the best way, then im cool with it. Id also like a nonexpensive option, thank you! What is the best way to get rid of my blackheads?
In the beauty section you can buy stainless steel black and whitehead removal tools. They're like a small wire loop to gently draw along the skin and press the blackhead out. They also work really great around the creases of your nose since oils and sebum accumulate there too.
Steam your face with a hot towel a few minutes to soften them first - then a good soapy wash and rinse afterwards to keep the number of bacteria down in the pores. What is the best way to get rid of my blackheads?
The cheapest way to get rid of blackheads near or on your nose, is to open your pores using hot water. In the tub, wet a wash cloth with hot water and then put the wash cloth over your face.
Wait 3 or 4 minutes, then gently squeeze the bulb your nose from both sides. For blackheads near but not on your nose, squeeze your nostril and cheek close to your nose.
After you do this, close your pores with cold water and moisturize.
Your nose may or may not start to peel a few days after you do this. Biore works, but you should also open your pores before you use it.
i have the same problem. the biore things don't hurt very bad but they are expensive but they get the job done.
you should try making your own pore strip with Elmer's glue and let it dry then just peel it off and it gets all the black heads off.
I tried those biore strips and they didn't really hurt but they didn't really work either

I used to have bad acne when I was younger. :]
I would try talking to your doctor about it. That's what I had to do. None of the advertised products worked for me.
Go see a licensed esthetician or a dermatologist. They will help you. Usually you just need an excellent face wash.

How to get rid of blackheads with out drying my face out?
I have blackheads mainly aroung my nose, chin and jaw line. I have used products for it but it drys my face out and it dosent look good when I put my makeup on.How to get rid of blackheads with out drying my face out?

Though the best way to remove blackheads is an area of contention, the most common method for getting rid of blackheads is to gently squeeze them. Removing the ';stuff'; inside of the blackhead helps the skin because you are relieving the pressure which causes the damage. We know it can be nearly impossible to leave a blemish alone so here are some tips for gentle blackhead removal:
Use a mild scrub or skin exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.
Pat your face dry.
Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.
Pat your face dry again.
Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.
Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You're trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.
Only attempt this once or twice. If it does not ';pop';, you may bruise the skin, make the blackhead worse, and could cause scarring.
proactive is scam, it just made my acne worse and my skin dry so I wouldn't recommend you to use it. Instead drink a lot of water. also I'm using a cheap remedy which is helping me a lot to remove my face severe acne. I found it from this blog: http://finallyigotridofacne.wordpress.co鈥?/a>

Try a black head removing tool. I think that Trim or Tweezer-man makes one. They sell them at wal greens and wal mart on the isle where they sell finger nail clippers. They are called black head extracting tools. They are only about $5.00. I hope this helps you!

For black heads, put your face close to about 15cms - 20 cm away from the hot water to ';steam'; the pores at the affected area. Try not to handpick the blackheads too much as it can cause scarring subsequently.
And dry skin to me is always so irritating...I hate it so much...I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.
Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.
Another product that I think is effective is Atopalm. This dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now. (Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

What is a good and effective way to remove pimples and blackheads?
I want clear %26amp; healthy skin and wanna know some good ways to remove pimples and blackheads that are known to work, is there any fast methods that are good? I'd prefer if i didn't need any expensive skin product as well but if it comes to that so be it.What is a good and effective way to remove pimples and blackheads?
Get Clean%26amp;Clear Blackhead scrub and wash your face twice a day (in the morning and at night before bed). Avoid touching your face, eating greasy/junk foods and drink lots of water. What is a good and effective way to remove pimples and blackheads?
Try an Obagi product called ';clear'; It'll dry everything right up. use it every morning after washing your face.
You can use an Obagi product face wash, also...
I was turned on to Obagi by a great dermatologist that I had, and it worked better than the Retin-A cream I had been using. be sure to get a quality face wash with salicylic acid.
The key to clear skin is keeping skin clean of sweat/oil/buildup, and getting a product that helps in exfoliating.
Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Consider going to see a wholistic health professional, they have some great supplements. Try and stay away from the junk foods.
I use a small device called a zit zapper which is fast and I find very effective. Below is an article that I found that may be of interest, good luck!
