My skin is spot-free and reasonable at a distance, but up close there's a hell of a lot of blackheads. Has anybody tried something that works for minimising this?

exfoliate. steam. extract.
you should exfoliate every few days to prevent those clogged pores. if you want to squeeze them out, steam your face (after washing and exfoliating) for a few minutes and you can do your own extractions at home.. but if they wont come out, don't try to force them out cuz you could cause scarring.
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!!! Soap and glory's scrub your nose in it is really good. They sell it in boots or online.
