The best course of action for a long term solution is to just leave them alone. There are a few reasons for this, firstly, stressing over them causes your body to produce more oil, which causes more blackheads / whiteheads, and therefore more stress. Second, leaving them alone allows your body to fully heal, without rupturing the skin.





There is always the possibility of scarring and even stripping the blackheads away with some of those products available can ruin your skin in the long term.





In fact, you should be happy your face is oily, because oily skin is generally more pliable, and in old age you will not wrinkle as much! Skin that is clear and dry now will become chapped and wrinkled later on. Oily skin now will stretch and move and not be as wrinkly when you are older.





It may be hard to deal with now, but in 5 years you won't notice and in 10 years it will be a distant memory. It is hard to think about things in the long term when you are still young, but try not to worry about it. Your friends and anyone that you care to date don't care about it and neither should you. It does not change who you are.

Get a blackhead removal tool. It has a tiny opening that you put over the blackhead and press down. It circles just that area so not much of a red spot.

Question of my life! I have the same problem.
freederm is a great product. Pretty expensive but really does work and bloody quickly as well. It doesn't leave you looking achne free but it makes redness go down significantly. Espically compared to the usual products from Clearasil which are pretty useless IMO.
yeah i know how to get rid of them by popping but i also know that if you compress with a cold paper towel it would work.
